Johnson O’Malley (JOM)
The Johnson O’Malley Program serves students who attend school in the Sac and Fox jurisdiction (which includes Ripley). The student can be a member of any federally recognized tribe, but must have their own CDIB. The student must have a completed JOM application on file for each school year, a request for service, and a copy of their CDIB. If a vendor is to be paid, we need a copy of their invoice. The program pays the vendor, not teh individual, except for the school supplies, and we do not reimburse.
These are the services we offer:
School supplies checks in the amount of $30.00 per child per school year
Fees and books for seniors enrolled in concurrent classes (up to 6 hours)
Education Plans: Art Material, Athletic Insurance, Club Uniform, Home Econ Fee/Material, Gym Uniform, Draft Fee/Material, Club Activity Fee, Science Fair Project, Academic Workshop, Shop Fee/Material, Vo-Tech Expense, Letterman Jacket, Workbook Fees, Summer School, Academic Summer Camp, and Senior Incentive See Mrs. Calavan for Full Listing and Description of JOM Education Plan
